Sanofi’s exhibition stand was one of the main attractions of the Cardiology Congress, thanks to the 4 solutions we implemented to present the product portfolio.

Oculus Rift virtual reality application

Rare cardio diseases were illustrated with a virtual journey in a mountain area, sprinkled with edelweiss flowers. Once every part of the scenery was explored, the doctors discovered useful information to establish diagnosis in the case of rare diseases.

The messages, completely integrated in the whole image, were centered on information and brand, offering solutions in case of complicated diagnosis. For example, one of the messages in the application was: ‘Thanks to the support offered by Genzyme, Romania has an available blood test to diagnose Fabry and Pompe disease. The test is fast, simple and free for doctors and patients’.

Multi touch applications

These applications were used by all 3 Sanofi branches, present at the Congress.

One of them, designed to promote rare cardio disease medicine, meant recomposing an edelweiss flower using a multi touch system. This symbol of rarity, the centerpiece of the application, was the message support – the main symptoms and diagnosis methods of rare affections.

Augmented reality photo application

Using this application, the stand visitors, standing in front of a screen, appeared in real time in a completely different environment, surrounded by virtual or 3D elements. By simply moving their hands, the users were able to select from 3 virtual environments – mountain scenery with edelweiss flowers, the Sinaia Casino area or the inside of a heart, and generate a photograph. What’s more, the photo could be instantly emailed, shared on a social network or printed.

Virtual assistant

The same exhibition stand received a virtual assistant, projected as a real person on a cut- out vertical surface, offering information on the brand, the products and different affections.
